Queen's Preschool - Our Home Away From Home.

We are a small centre located in the beautiful suburb of St. Clair. We pride ourselves on giving children and their families a home away from home. Our centre is licensed for 29 children aged from birth to 6 years. We cater for those families that understand that smaller group sizes have beneficial effects on their child's holistic development.

 

At Queen's Preschool, we maintain low ratios and employ 100% qualified teachers to ensure personalised care and education. Our commitment is to create an inclusive environment that embraces all families, fostering warm and respectful relationships. Here, children and whānau experience a sense of security and belonging, making their time with us truly special.

At Queens Preschool, we are proud to have a team of 100% fully qualified and registered kaiako. This means every teacher holds a recognised early childhood qualification and is certified by the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand. Having a fully qualified team ensures that tamariki receive high-quality, research-informed care and education, grounded in best practice. Our kaiako are passionate about creating nurturing, responsive, and enriching learning environments where every child feels seen, valued, and supported to thrive.
